The addition of Lhoist UK to the Group in December 2000 demonstrated our
development plans bringing Lhoist UK experience and product quality into the
group. The Group today represents a formidable worldwide producer of lime
with significant Research and Development operations.
Industry globalisation means that our

greater attention to creativity, efficiency and dynamism from their
suppliers.
Today the Lhoist Group has operations throughout Europe and America, with
employee numbers exceeding 7000 people.
