Hemcrete® is selected as a finalist in the Construction News Green Week Awards 2007


Tradical® Hemcrete® was one of five shortlisted finalists in the Construction News Green Week Awards 2007. Construction News is the best selling construction newspaper in the UK and the awards and Green Week conference are a recognition of how quickly the mainstream UK construction industry is focussing on environmental construction to address climate change issues. The inclusion of Tradical® Hemcrete® alongside the well established material producers products is testament to the excellent progress that has been made in establishing Tradical® Hemcrete® as a mainstream material in the UK construction market.

Hemcrete is selected as a finalist in the Grand Designs Magazines Award for Best Eco-Product 2006

Tradical® Hemcrete® was short-listed from over 300 entries in the Award for Best Eco-Product category of the inaugural Grand Designs Magazine Awards 2006. The Channel 4 television programme, Grand Designs has grown to include a very popular magazine publication and exhibition forum for all aspects of home living, architecture, products and design. The awards have just eleven categories, five for products, five for architecture and one for the Best Grand Designs TV show. The awards were presented at a dinner held in Excel London alongside the Grand Designs Exhibition Event.
