Why using Tradical® air lime will make my building more "durable" ? |
Tradical® air lime provides long-lasting strength and beneficial flexibility (when hydraulic binders usually provide "super strength" and low flexibility ).
The durability of any construction primarily depends on its ability to take on structural deformations without failing.
This ability to deform is mostly linked to the mortar characteristics. The "durable mortar" must combine strength and flexibility.
Flexible mortars will accommodate normal thermal and dynamic movements thus reducing the occurrence of cracking.
Durable mortars and renders are resistant to cracking and to the penetration of water that leads to progressive deterioration.
