or spray the Tradical® Hemcrete® in my walls?
A: In general casting has been the more commonly chosen process in the UK as this can be achieved by contractors and operatives attending a short training course. Spraying requires specific equipment and in-depth training and is provided by specialist contractors only and is therefore more likely to be suited to larger projects.
Q: How high can one build in a day with Tradical®Hemcrete® ?
A:The limitation will be related to the practical
arrangements on the site and the form of the construction.
Construction of a full storey height within a day has been seen to be achievable.
Q: Can Tradical® Hemcrete® be installed in the
winter?
A: Yes, with appropriate procedures and protection as well as understanding that drying in winter will be more extended than in the summer. In common with most construction products, the minimum temperature for mixing and placing is 5°C and the material must be protected from frost and rain during drying.
